Buyer seeks services for Over Band Crack Filling on designated streets in Grand Haven. The work involves cleaning cracks in hot mix asphalt pavements and applying specified materials into and over the cracks. • Must provide three municipal government references
• Must meet MDOT specifications for materials
• Must have required insurance coverage
• Product must comply with MS4 permit (no coal tar emulsion)

• Clean cracks in hot mix asphalt pavements
• Apply specified materials into and over cracks
• Place temporary pavement markings where material obliterates existing markings
• Use compressed air system to prepare cracks
• Ensure material meets MDOT specifications
• Provide documentation that products comply with MS4 permit
• Use melter applicator with pressure pump and agitator
• Apply sealant at 1/8 to 3/16 inch thickness
• Clean cracks no more than 10 minutes ahead of filling
• Submit daily reports with detailed project information
• Allow material to cool before opening to traffic
• Repair any damage by traffic at no expense
• Coordinate inspection with City representative
• Complete work on 17 specified street segments
• Ensure no coal tar emulsions are used (MS4 permit requirement)
• Apply material only when temperatures are between 45-85°F
• Ensure pavement is dry and cracks are free of moisture
