The process includes standard terms and conditions for doing business with the State of Alabama including requirements for tax compliance, E-Verify enrollment, and foreign business registration.

• 6/6/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Registration with Alabama Secretary of State for foreign entities
• E-Verify enrollment for suppliers with Alabama employees
• Not debarred or suspended from government transactions
• Compliance with federal immigration laws
• Collection and remittance of Alabama sales/use taxes

• Register in Alabama Buys system
• Submit response electronically through Alabama Buys
• Verify enrollment in E-Verify program
• File Disclosure Statement for proposals over $5,000
• Certify compliance with Alabama tax collection requirements
• Accept multiple forms of electronic payment
• Provide manufacturer's reseller authorization if requested
• Submit professional licenses if requested
• Provide certificates of insurance if requested
• Attend dispute resolution meetings if conflicts arise
