Buyer seeks a Mechanical Subcontractor for Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Enhancements using a GC/CM alternative selection process. The selected contractor will provide preconstruction services and participate as a Key Project Partner in construction planning, constructability reviews, and value engineering. The project involves coordination through BIM from preconstruction through commissioning while minimizing impacts to the active treatment plant. Hoffman Construction Company of Washington is serving as the GC/CM for this project.

• Provide preconstruction services including cost estimating, scheduling, and phasing logistics
• Participate in development of construction plans to minimize impacts to active treatment plant
• Conduct constructability reviews at 30%, 60%, and 90% milestones
• Identify products and methods for Value Engineering for all scopes of work
• Participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) meetings to coordinate complex systems
• Collaborate to complete design deliverables while eliminating waste and minimizing cost
• Identify and mitigate project risks as an active participant
• Assist in early procurement of long-lead specialty, mechanical and electrical equipment
• Research existing panels and circuits for inclusion in the upgrade
• Maintain desired quality levels while keeping project on schedule and within budget
