Buyer seeks to promote and support the development of social model engagement programs for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers in rural areas. Buyer aims to connect organizations with social model programs designed for early-stage programming and support initial program development. Buyer encourages rural organizations to add or expand services that reduce dementia-related social isolation. Buyer will fund projects up to $10,000 to support program development and initial operating months.

• 5/31/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 6/30/2025 - Project Initiation Deadline

• Be eligible to do business in Washington State
• Be located or doing business within the O3A service area
• Pass a criminal history check
• Be able to perform services in advance of billing
• Provide proof of insurance to meet agency standards

• Develop a 4-hour social model engagement program for people with dementia
• Offer program once or twice a week on an ongoing basis
• Include 1 meal (lunch) during each 4-hour program
• Affiliate with either Respite for All or Old Friends Club
• Reduce dementia-related social isolation in rural areas
• Initiate project prior to June 30, 2025
• Conduct background checks on staff providing services
• Provide proof of insurance to meet agency standards
• Submit monthly invoices for reimbursement
• Serve people with dementia and unpaid family caregivers in O3A service area
