Collaborative For Higher Education Shared Services

Buyer seeks a qualified vendor to enhance and develop the overall Information Security and technology maturity for CHESS and its six member colleges. The project involves creating a cybersecurity shared services model that provides cost-effective and flexible security services based on institutional needs. Services will include governance framework development, policy implementation, data classification, configuration management, incident response planning, and IT-as-a-Service delivery. The initial contract will be for two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year terms.

• Develop centralized cybersecurity shared services model for member institutions
• Establish information security program governance framework
• Adapt and implement custom policies and procedures
• Create data classification and handling policies compliant with regulations
• Establish configuration management baselines and change control processes
• Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
• Design IT-as-a-Service remediation and configuration services
• Create performance reporting frameworks and dashboards
• Establish escalation procedures for critical systems
• Design implementation roadmap with timelines and resource allocation
