Management of the Mirror Lake Recreation Area in Devens, Massachusetts

Buyer seeks a vendor to manage the Mirror Lake Recreation Area for the summer season. The site includes approximately 115 feet of sand shoreline and a boat ramp. Buyer requires a vendor to provide waterfront services including staffing, safety oversight, fee collection, and recreational programming. The contract will be for one operating season with options to renew for two additional seasons through 2027.

• Current lifeguard, water safety, first aid, and CPR certifications
• Ability to operate for 10-15 weeks during summer season
• Capacity to provide all required staffing and services
• Insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation

• Provide waterfront services with certified staff including Waterfront Director and Lifeguards
• Manage beach operations seven days per week from 10am-7pm
• Operate the boat ramp and supervise water activities
• Collect admission fees and monitor parking areas
• Implement swim programs and boat rental services
• Present Standard Operating Procedure and Emergency Action Plan
• Maintain financial records and attendance figures
• Ensure staff undergo CORI background checks
• Ensure compliance with Nashoba Valley Board of Health regulations
• Coordinate organized outings/events with MassDevelopment/Devens Recreation
