Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Buyer is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide education and outreach services to engage Matanuska-Susitna Borough residents in maintaining and building healthy riparian areas. The primary goal is to reduce nonpoint source pollution by educating residents about actionable steps to maintain, improve, and restore riparian areas on private property. The project will focus on areas adjacent to impaired waterbodies and lakes and streams with dense development. The project is funded through a grant awarded by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.

• Establish regular project communication through Microsoft Teams
• Prepare a final report measuring outreach effectiveness and behavior changes
• Attend monthly coordination meetings with MSB staff
• Maintain high quality standards for all deliverables and materials
• Document all meetings and maintain project files
• Adapt to project changes through established change management procedures
