• Manage Microsoft 365 and Sophos licensing for 53 user accounts
• Conduct quarterly vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and maintain a 5-year IT strategic roadmap with budgets
• Provide backup/recovery solutions with regular testing and disaster recovery planning
• Manage hybrid cloud architecture and optimize cloud costs
• Support hybrid meeting technologies and remote work environments
• Perform quarterly security awareness training for staff
• Use managed detection and response solution for cybersecurity
• Maintain comprehensive IT inventory with lifecycle management planning
• Provide installation and configuration services for new equipment
• Implement lightweight automation solutions to improve departmental efficiency
• Support municipal-specific systems for permitting and licensing
• Provide technical presence in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, or Ventura County
• Track service calls with real-time updates and automated notifications
• Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
