Buyer requires physical inspection and condition assessment of 16-inch to 24-inch Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) in its water transmission system. The work involves examining up to 8 locations where 30-foot sections of pipeline will be exposed for testing. Contractor will use technologies to assess pipeline integrity including visual inspection, sounding tests, and other non-destructive methods. Tests will analyze wire breaks, steel cylinder corrosion, and joint deterioration without shutting down the water main.

• Perform physical inspection of PCCP water mains at 6-8 locations
• Conduct visual inspection of exposed pipelines
• Perform bar/hammer sounding tests on pipelines
• Conduct impact echo/pulse velocity testing
• Analyze wire breaks in PCCP pipes
• Assess steel cylinder corrosion
• Evaluate joint deterioration in pipelines
• Document and report needed repairs
• Create strategic plan for future repairs and maintenance
• Implement traffic control setups as needed for water main access
