The program focuses on treating opioid use disorder, supporting people in recovery, connecting individuals to care, addressing needs of justice-involved persons, and supporting pregnant women and families. Prevention efforts include reducing overprescribing, preventing misuse, and reducing overdose deaths. Additional strategies support first responders, leadership coordination, training, and research.
