Buyer seeks a consultant to design, recruit for, and facilitate community focus groups, and to gather and analyze qualitative data. The project will inform implementation of the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) in five priority areas. Focus groups will involve diverse participants from urban locations with representation across communities experiencing health disparities. The consultant will provide actionable insights to inform health policy, programs, and strategies.

• Three years experience planning, recruiting, engaging, and facilitating focus groups
• Three years experience in primary research data collection and analysis
• Experience working with diverse urban populations
• Experience in qualitative research involving public health issues
• All necessary insurance coverages, permits, licenses and professional credentials

• Design recruitment strategy for 5-6 focus groups with diverse participants
• Develop focus group facilitation guides with CHIP Leadership Team
• Provide incentives, transportation, and childcare for focus group participants
• Facilitate 5-6 focus groups for at least 2 hours each
• Record and transcribe focus group discussions while protecting confidentiality
• Analyze qualitative data from focus groups
• Create comprehensive report with key findings and recommendations
• Ensure inclusive spaces for participants with disabilities or language barriers
• Develop strategies to hear all voices, not just the loudest
• Identify actionable insights to inform health policy and programs
