Climate Action and Resilience Planning

Buyer seeks a qualified consultant to assist in the continued development of its Climate Action Plan and implement strategic initiatives toward achieving resilience to climate change. The resulting contract will be a three-year on-call Master Services Agreement with individual projects issued by Task Order. Buyer requires a consultant who can update the community-wide GHG inventory, develop decarbonization strategies, and establish metrics to track implementation progress with robust public engagement.

• Must be properly licensed and registered in Massachusetts
• Experience with climate action and resilience planning
• Ability to implement comprehensive public engagement strategy
• Data analysis and reporting expertise
• Web-based platform development capabilities

• Update and implement NB Resilient Climate Action and Resilience Plan
• Update community-wide greenhouse gas inventory compatible with Massachusetts reporting platforms
• Develop decarbonization strategy to achieve net-zero by 2050
• Complete a Heat Vulnerability Assessment through robust multi-lingual public process
• Identify and support funding opportunities for resilience initiatives
• Provide user-friendly online data sharing platforms for municipal and public use
• Facilitate public engagement and outreach across diverse stakeholder groups
• Establish metrics to track climate action progress and outcomes
• Create visually appealing, translatable documentation for different audiences
• Maintain interactive, publicly accessible dashboard with monthly updates
