Buyer seeks a contractor to provide labor, expenses, and materials for directional boring at four locations to facilitate street light installation in the Village of Glencoe. The work involves boring approximately 665 linear feet across four sites and installing cable protection tubes. The contractor must follow specific technical requirements for tube installation, including proper tension limits and relaxation procedures. Comprehensive insurance coverage is required, and the project must be completed by July 31, 2025.

• Directionally bore four separate locations for street light installation
• Install cable protection tube and accessories conforming to CDT-600-C
• Ensure tube is sealed to prevent drilling slurry entering
• Maintain proper pulling tension (max 5500 lbs for 4-inch, 13500 lbs for 6-inch)
• Pull 4 inches of additional tube per 10 feet for relaxation
• Allow tube relaxation for 4-6 hours before cutting
• Avoid sharp angles to prevent tube collapse
• Complete boring at Westwood Ln & Pine Ct (171 feet)
• Complete boring at Westwood Ln & Mayfair Ln (144 feet)
• Complete boring at South Ave & Surfside Pl (255 feet)
• Complete boring at Brentwood Dr & Hillcrest Dr (95 feet)
• Install 2-1/C #6 stranded aluminum EX cable with 3-inch conduit
• Provide comprehensive general liability insurance ($1M minimum)
• Maintain automobile liability insurance ($1M minimum)
• Carry worker's compensation coverage per Illinois law
• Name Village as additional insured on insurance policies
• Submit verification of insurance coverage before work commences
• Ensure all subcontractors meet insurance requirements
• Complete project by July 31, 2025
• Enter contract within 15 days of award notice
