Buyer seeks a qualified auditing firm to provide municipal audit services for a three-year term with options to extend up to two additional years. The initial audit covers the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Services include financial statement audit, Single Audit, and compliance reporting according to Government Auditing Standards. Buyer requires ongoing availability for technical accounting advice and scheduled deliverables.

• 5/15/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 11/30/2025 - Draft financial statements due
• 12/15/2025 - Final reports due
• 3/31/2026 - Council presentation

• Independence from the Town
• Licensed to practice as CPAs in Arizona
• Experience in government audits
• Experience with Pelorus software preferred

• Prepare and annually audit basic financial statements
• Provide opinion on financial statements' conformity with accounting principles
• Prepare annual Single Audit as required by law
• Provide supplementary information required by generally accepted accounting principles
• Report on internal controls related to financial statements
• Audit schedule of expenditures of Federal awards
• Report on compliance with laws affecting major programs
• Provide technical accounting advice throughout the year
• Deliver draft financial statements by November 30th
• Present audit findings to Town Council in March
