Buyer seeks a qualified vendor to provide Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting Services for the Kansas Veterans Home and Kansas Soldiers Home. Services include preparing monthly journal entries, compiling cost reports, providing unaudited financial statements, and offering consultation. The contract term is for five years from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030.
- 4/25/2025 - Question Submission Deadline
- 5/15/2025 - Proposal Due Date
- 7/1/2025 - Contract Start Date
- Minimum of five years continuous active participation in the applicable industry
- Prepare monthly journal entries from facility data files
- Compile Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports for two veterans homes
- Provide monthly unaudited financial statements with multiple copies
- Review facility-prepared PBJ submission files quarterly
- Respond to KDADS cost report inquiries
- Prepare MS-2004 and AU-3902 Medicaid Cost Reports annually
- Prepare CMS 2540-96 Medicare Cost Reports annually
- Work with facilities to ensure proper expense account coding
- Provide PBJ consultation to facilities as needed
- Assist facilities with PBJ audit submissions as necessary
