City of Homewood Comprehensive Plan
Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham
Buyer is seeking a qualified consulting firm to develop a new citywide Comprehensive Plan for the City of Homewood in Alabama. The plan will incorporate elements of land use, housing, transportation, economic development, and public services. Buyer requires the plan to reflect the city's upcoming transition to a Council-Manager form of government and address the unique needs of each of the four newly drawn Wards. The project will be funded 80% through federal surface transportation dollars with the City covering the remaining 20%.

- Review existing plans and land development regulations
- Develop ward-specific strategies for each of the four Wards
- Compile analysis of existing conditions and trends
- Integrate recommendations from previous master plans where relevant
- Propose changes to align zoning with comprehensive plan vision
- Develop implementation program with short, medium and long-term projects
