Bourne Armory Parking Lot Repair

Buyer seeks a contractor to perform parking lot repairs at the Bourne Armory. The work involves full-depth removal of approximately 57,930 square feet of existing asphalt pavement and repaving the entire area. The parking lot is currently in poor condition with extensive cracking, deterioration, and potholes. Both Department of Labor Standards and Davis Bacon prevailing wages will apply to this project.

• OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification for all employees
• Payment bond of 50% of project cost
• Performance bond of 100% if bid exceeds $150K
• Contractor must attend mandatory site visit on May 6
• Active registration in COMMBUYS system
• Compliance with prevailing wage requirements

• Remove approximately 57,930 square feet of existing asphalt pavement
• Perform full depth reclamation of asphalt pavement to 12-inch depth
• Fine grade and compact reclaimed base to 95% compaction
• Protect existing sewer/drainage manhole structures during work
• Repave with 3.5-inch binder course and 1.5-inch wear course
• Apply bituminous joints at all saw-cut joints
• Apply loam and seed to all back edges
• Provide erosion control, flagging, and traffic control
• Install line striping for parking spaces after pavement cures (Alternate)
• Comply with prevailing wage requirements and submit certified payrolls
