Buyer seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work directly in the Elections department while reporting to IT Management. The position provides technical expertise in desktops, communications, networking, and troubleshooting. Candidate will gather requirements, design support plans, document processes, manage equipment installations, and resolve technical issues. Buyer requires lead direction, assistance, and training capabilities for technicians in a matrixed environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
• Four years professional experience in systems analysis
• Project leadership experience in large multi-processing environment
• Valid Nevada Class C driver's license may be required
• Legal authorization to work in United States

• Provide project management for planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Lead direction and training for programming project teams
• Gather and analyze customer systems requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies for automated systems
• Perform requirements analysis and cost/benefit analysis
• Develop schedules and formal project plans
• Work in a matrix management environment
• Design technical support plans (hotline, recovery, resource coverage)
• Manage site equipment installations for elections
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues
• Bridge and resolve project and customer conflicts
• Document systems and processes
• Maintain records and prepare reports
• Provide lead direction for technicians
• Serve as liaison between IT and Elections departments
• Handle desktop, communications, and networking troubleshooting
• Work extended shifts during election periods
• Present information in formal settings
• Maintain current knowledge of technology
• Coordinate completion of assigned team work
