Buyer seeks a partner to provide and manage Early Childhood Programming for children ages 2.9-6 years at Waltham High School. The program must implement standardized curriculum aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and Waltham Public Schools curriculum. The selected vendor will be responsible for all staffing, programming, and operations for a three-year contract period. The program will also collaborate with the Waltham High School CTE Early Education program.

  • Must have a proven track record of at least 5 successful years providing early childhood programming
  • Provide early childhood programming for 2.9-6 year-olds at Waltham High School
  • Implement standardized early childhood curriculum aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
  • Manage staffing including hiring, training, and supervision of qualified personnel
  • Develop daily activities that include student choice opportunities
  • Collaborate with Waltham High School CTE Early Education program
  • Conduct background checks and CORI screenings for all staff
  • Maintain appropriate staff-to-student ratios per EEC Board requirements
  • Provide professional development for staff including PBIS approaches
  • Ensure alignment with Waltham Public Schools elementary curriculum
  • Implement comprehensive safety and security protocols
  • Provide programming that addresses health, wellness, fine arts, and academics
  • Ensure all programming adheres to MA regulations and standards
  • Submit to evaluation by district-appointed review committee
  • Collaborate with school administration on program structure and timing
  • Support CTE student observations and practicums within the program
  • Manage daily operations of morning and afternoon sessions
  • Maintain appropriate licensing and certifications
  • Provide facility management during program hours
  • Track enrollment and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Develop character and leadership skills in early childhood students
