Buyer seeks an Overseas Marketing Representative for its Northern EU Marketing Program covering Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom. The contractor will provide strategic marketing plan execution, trade outreach, media placement, consumer/trade promotion, public relations, and foodservice development. Buyer requires expertise in seafood marketing with strong trade relationships and digital marketing capabilities. The initial contract will be for one year with potential for four one-year renewals.

• Two years in marketing, trade relations and consumer PR
• Dedicated full-time seafood trade representative with 5+ years experience
• 1-2 full-time staff with 3+ years food marketing experience
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Based in the UK with ability to travel throughout region

• Execute strategic marketing plan for Alaska seafood in Northern European markets
• Conduct retail promotions with major retailers in-store and online
• Build trade relationships and attend relevant trade shows
• Create digital marketing campaigns including social media management
• Develop HRI/foodservice promotions with chefs and restaurants
• Organize in/outbound trade missions
• Manage consumer PR and media relations
• Conduct strategic market research
• Create promotional materials with Alaska Seafood branding
• Provide detailed reporting on program activities and results
