Buyer seeks a qualified firm to provide Safety Program Manager Services for Public Works, Facilities Management, Stormwater, and Division of Transportation departments. The Safety Program Manager will evaluate potential employee exposures during normal work activities in various environments. Buyer wants assistance determining best practices for relevant training and safety information based on position and work activities. The contract period will be one year with three one-year renewal options.

• 5/1/2025 - Questions due to Buyer
• 5/2/2025 - Final Q&A Addendum Published
• 5/9/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Minimum five years experience implementing safety programs for municipalities
• Staff with degrees in Safety Science or equivalent field
• Maintain staff of Certified Safety Professionals
• Project managers with at least five years safety experience
• Preferred: Safety Management Specialist(s) on staff

• Conduct diagnostic review of existing Safety Manual and Training Programs
• Create annual required and optional safety course training deck
• Review and update Safety Training Program for each department
• Establish training budget including outside vendors
• Evaluate potential employee exposures and recommend protective solutions
• Develop department-specific Implementation Plans
• Recommend cost-saving in-house vendors
• Conduct required safety training classes
• Perform on-site safety inspections with improvement recommendations
• Assist with workplace incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
