Buyer seeks a consultant to design and implement a Global LEAP Awards Competition for Solar Generators used in energy constrained settings. The consultant will support program operations, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis over a one-year period. Buyer requires approximately 260 days of service with potential travel of 5-10 days. Buyer is focused on improving energy efficiency and environmental performance of appliances globally.

• 2+ years experience in off-grid clean energy sector or analogous sectors
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Outstanding communication skills in English
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Self-directed with ability to work remotely
• Preferably based in Africa, specifically Kenya or Nigeria

• Design and implement Solar Generators Competition for energy constrained settings
• Schedule and document team meetings and stakeholder engagements
• Develop tracking tools for program activities and impacts
• Manage appliance testing process including company outreach and sampling
• Coordinate shipping for product testing and evaluation
• Conduct data analysis and develop evaluation tools for appliances
• Design informational webinars, reports, and presentations
• Perform market research on off-grid appliance technologies
• Contribute to grant reporting on programmatic activities
• Develop content for competition and communications campaigns
