Buyer seeks qualified benefits consulting services for approximately 4,000 employees. The consultant will provide strategic guidance on plan design, create a benefits portal, monitor existing programs, assist with vendor selection, and ensure regulatory compliance. Buyer is self-insured with medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits currently administered by Cigna Healthcare.

• Experience with public sector employers with at least 4,000 employees
• Must not be affiliated with any insurance company or provider network

• Provide strategic guidance on plan design and benefits programs
• Create and manage a comprehensive benefits portal and service center
• Perform ongoing plan monitoring and evaluation of benefits programs
• Assist with RFP creation and proposal evaluation for benefits vendors
• Manage voluntary benefits and discount programs
• Monitor government mandates and regulatory compliance
• Analyze claim utilization data to identify cost management opportunities
• Provide benefits communications support including open enrollment campaigns
• Benchmark benefits against comparable organizations
• Coordinate with health clinic provider to obtain performance data
