Buyer seeks a qualified public or non-profit organization to administer the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) in Greene, Lamar, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa counties. The program serves unemployed, low-income persons aged 55+ by providing part-time community service training opportunities. Buyer aims to foster individual economic self-sufficiency and promote useful employment opportunities for older adults.

• Must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit or government agency
• Must be in good standing in Alabama
• Must provide services in Greene, Lamar, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa Counties
• Must be technically and administratively capable

• Recruit and select eligible low-income participants aged 55+
• Provide community service work training at host agencies
• Develop Individual Employment Plans for each participant
• Facilitate unsubsidized employment placement for participants
• Provide follow-up support for 16 months after employment
• Coordinate with American Job Centers and workforce boards
• Monitor participants through regular IEP reassessments
• Develop relationships with local employers for job placements
• Serve participants with multiple barriers to employment
• Manage participant wages and required fringe benefits
