Buyer seeks a qualified Certified Public Accountant to conduct annual financial audits for fiscal years ending 2026 through 2030. The selected firm will perform financial audits in compliance with Government Auditing Standards and complete the Uniform System of Financial Records Compliance Questionnaire. Services include evaluating financial transactions, federal award compliance, and providing technical assistance as needed.

• 5/1/2025 - Last Day for Questions
• 5/8/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 5/12/2025 - Proposal Evaluations
• 6/24/2025 - Recommendation to Governing Board

• Properly licensed certified public accountants
• Meet independence requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• No record of substandard audit work for last five years
• External quality control review performed every three years
• Meet continuing education requirements of Government Auditing Standards

• Conduct annual financial audit in accordance with U.S. auditing standards
• Complete Uniform System of Financial Records (USFR) Compliance Questionnaire
• Issue reports required by Government Auditing Standards
• Follow Uniform Guidance requirements for federal awards
• Determine district compliance with USFR standards
• Provide technical advice and implementation support for audit recommendations
• Submit preliminary draft reports by November 30
• Hold exit conference to review audit findings
• Submit final reports by December 15
• Verify compliance with federal and state regulations
