Buyer seeks qualified firms to provide professional engineering services on an as-needed basis to assist their Department of Public Services Engineering Division. Services include preliminary design, engineering, construction inspection, surveying, project administration, and technical support. The contract will be for three years with one additional year extension option. Selected consultants will provide services on a project-by-project basis with costs determined per assignment.

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan for each scope of work designation
• Five years experience in preliminary design and planning
• Five years experience in design engineering
• Five years experience in construction engineering and inspection
• Five years experience in survey
• Five years experience in project administration and local agency representation
• Five years experience in general civil support
• Five years experience in traffic engineering
• Five years experience in geotechnical engineering services
• Five years experience in testing construction materials
• Five years experience in fabrication inspection

• Conduct preliminary design and planning for infrastructure projects
• Perform design engineering including construction drawings and specifications
• Provide construction engineering and inspection services
• Conduct surveys including topographical and boundary surveys
• Represent agency in project administration
• Provide general civil support including plan review and cost estimating
• Conduct traffic engineering in design and review capacities
• Perform geotechnical engineering services
• Test construction materials in lab or on-site
• Inspect fabrication at manufacturer plants in-state and out-of-state
