Buyer is seeking qualified firms to provide financial auditing services. The services include performing annual financial and compliance audit services of Federal and State funds in accordance with Federal regulations and State policy. Buyer requires audits to follow Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and provide high level of assurance regarding internal controls. The contract will be for five years with an option to renew for two additional one-year terms.

• 4/7/2025 - RFP Issued
• 4/21/2025 - Deadline for Questions
• 4/23/2025 - Responses to Questions Posted
• 5/8/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 5/19/2025 - Interviews (if needed)
• 6/6/2025 - Notice to Proceed

• Experience in governmental entity audits and single audits
• Qualified staff with expertise in auditing
• Ability to complete audit within 120 days after fiscal year end
• Knowledge of Single Audit Act Amendments and government accounting standards

• Perform audit in compliance with Single Audit Act and OMB Uniform Guidance
• Complete preliminary work by first week of January
• Present annual financial report at Board meeting
• Submit exposure draft by first week of February
• Provide final report by second Wednesday in February
• Submit separate Management Report
• Complete Federal Audit Clearinghouse Data Collection Form
• Conduct audit following GAGAS and GAAS standards
• Provide opinion on basic financial statements
• Report instances of fraud, waste, and illegal acts
