Buyer is seeking qualified external auditing services for the school district. The contract will be for a two-year term with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. The selected firm must have experience performing Annual Financial Reports or Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports for school districts. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the district's e-Bidding website.

• Must have experience auditing school districts
• Must provide at least three reference letters from school districts

• Conduct annual external audit of financial statements
• Prepare audited Annual Financial Report (AFR) or CAFR
• Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards
• Evaluate internal controls and financial processes
• Issue independent auditor's opinion on financial statements
• Communicate findings to school board
• Identify areas of risk and recommendations for improvement
• Submit required reports to state education agencies
• Perform single audit for federal funds if applicable
• Consult on accounting and regulatory compliance matters
