Buyer is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide professional services for various school construction projects with budgets under $10M. Projects include deferred maintenance, site improvements, restroom renovations, energy efficiency upgrades, and new construction for TK facilities. Selected firms will enter into master agreements with buyer and submit fee proposals for specific projects through informal procurement. Buyer requires compliance with DSA and local business utilization requirements.

• 4/30/2025 - Requests for interpretation due
• 5/5/2025 - District provides responses to requests
• 5/8/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 6/25/2025 - Board Meeting - approval of Master Agreement

• Experience in K-12 school facility design
• Knowledge of Division of State Architect requirements
• California licensed architect as Design Professional in Charge
• Local Business Utilization requirement of 50% participation

• Prepare schematic design documents including 3D views
• Develop construction documents for DSA review and approval
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions
• Attend community meetings to present design options
• Create detailed cost estimates at each design phase
• Attend weekly construction meetings and produce minutes
• Review shop drawings and submittals for design compliance
• Respond to contractor RFIs within 10 days
• Prepare DSA closeout documentation
• Design energy efficiency upgrades and TK facilities
