Buyer is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide event planning services, coordination and implementation for a Juneteenth Celebration Event in June 2025. The event will include vendors, performers, and entertainment pertinent to the celebration of Juneteenth with an educational element. Buyer's goal is to engage and bring a diverse community together. The previous year's one-day event featured various performers and vendors with approximately 500 attendees.

• 5/8/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Three years of first-hand event planning experience for government agencies
• Experience in planning, logistics, coordination, and implementation
• Must have a Santa Ana Business License
• Must be in legal good standing with Federal and State regulators

• Manage and produce all phases of the Juneteenth event
• Develop creative direction and theme for the celebration
• Create an educational element for the 2025 Juneteenth celebration
• Design event layout including vendor and performance spaces
• Coordinate entertainment, performers, and vendors for the event
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional materials
• Manage event budget not exceeding $20,000
• Present event timeline by May 30, 2025
• Procure necessary equipment and services for event execution
• Ensure proper staffing and volunteer coordination
