PCEF Capacity Building for Nonprofit Organizations

Buyer seeks to enhance organizational capacity of nonprofit organizations engaged in climate-related work within Portland's frontline communities. Buyer aims to address capacity constraints by providing organizational development services in financial management, leadership, technology, and project planning. Buyer will award multiple price agreements per service category for an initial term of five years. Services will strengthen operational effectiveness of 16-20 nonprofit CBOs over 5 years to better deliver climate action projects.

- Experience working with community-based nonprofit organizations
- Ability to provide culturally responsive support

- Provide leadership development, strategic planning, and human resources support
- Implement technology and data management systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Guide project planning with timelines and milestones for better outcomes
- Develop effective expense tracking and bookkeeping systems
- Facilitate strategic meetings to build consensus and actionable plans
- Support board recruitment and governance structure development
- Provide executive coaching for leadership growth and effectiveness
- Guide organizations in selecting appropriate data management software
- Develop reporting systems to track metrics and communicate project successes
