Buyer seeks construction management and inspection services for the Placerville Drive Pedestrian Connectivity Project. The project includes construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, minor storm drain improvements, and crosswalk improvements on Placerville Drive from US 50/Fair Lane to Armory Drive. The project is federally funded through CMAQ with local matching funds and requires compliance with Caltrans LAPM. Construction is expected to begin in August 2025 and end in December 2025.

- Experience with Caltrans Construction Management Protocols
- Provide Resident Engineer services for federally-funded pedestrian project
- Perform construction inspection including quality control
- Coordinate materials testing and provide quality assurance
- Review construction staking by contractor and provide quality control
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and record keeping
- Manage submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with design engineer
- Review and process contract modifications and change orders
- Monitor contractor schedule and report on project status
- Process monthly progress payments and maintain cost accounting
- Implement Water Pollution Control Plan oversight with qualified QSP
- Review certified payrolls for compliance with federal wage requirements
- Perform constructability review of draft 95% plans and specifications
- Document pre-construction site conditions with photos and video
- Coordinate environmental monitoring and permit compliance
- Coordinate between contractor and utility companies during construction
- Monitor safety compliance with Cal-OSHA Construction Safety Orders
- Conduct field testing of soils, aggregate base, asphalt and concrete
- Facilitate project close-out and prepare final documentation
- Support community outreach and manage public complaints
- Prepare red-line record drawings documenting field changes
