Buyer seeks qualified interdisciplinary teams to provide development review and planning consultant services for their Department of Permitting and Land Use Planning. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis to review petitions and applications before the City's land use, environmental, and historical review boards. The consultant will review development plans, analyze proposals, prepare reports, and attend public meetings/hearings. The contract will be for two years with a possible one-year renewal option.

• Knowledge and expertise in zoning and permitting
• Experience in urban design and site planning
• Experience in housing planning and development
• Experience in real estate development
• Expertise in civil engineering and wetland protection
• Knowledge of historic preservation and traffic analysis

• Review development plans for special permits, variances, and subdivisions
• Review and recommend mitigation in wetland protection processes
• Analyze economic feasibility of proposed developments
• Review traffic reports and conduct site plan reviews
• Provide design review services
• Assist with determinations for demolition delay ordinance
• Assist in Section 106 historic preservation reviews
• Prepare reports for the Department and boards
• Negotiate and prepare land development agreements
• Prepare development guidelines for large parcels
