The evaluation will assess progress in improving West Virginia's science and technology capabilities to promote research competitiveness. The external evaluator will examine impacts on research infrastructure, research productivity, students, workforce development, and stakeholder engagement. The project involves evaluating the West Virginia Network for Functional Neuroscience and Transcriptomics (WV-NFNT) NSF EPSCoR Track-1 project entering year three of a five-year grant.
