Buyer seeks a contractor to provide enhanced services in the Downtown Municipal Service District. These services focus on creating a safe environment, supporting economic development, implementing targeted visitor marketing, and facilitating community stakeholder engagement. The contractor will work to improve the Downtown MSD through safety enhancements, economic development initiatives, promotional activities, and community problem-solving. The initial contract term is one year with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms.

• Provide enhanced safety services with Safety Ambassadors in the Downtown MSD
• Monitor district and report illegal behaviors to authorities
• Conduct retail recruitment and retention activities
• Fund targeted marketing and promotional efforts for area businesses
• Advertise and promote Downtown events, places and people
• Create advertisement campaigns for holiday season and restaurant week
• Serve as convener for complex community issues
• Engage with MSD property owners to solve problems
• Provide liaison with city staff as required
• Establish mechanism for ongoing public feedback on MSD services
