Buyer seeks qualified firms to provide on-call design, drafting, inspection and construction management services for various public works and utilities projects. The consultant will support City staff in management, plan check, inspection and design of capital improvement projects from design through construction. Projects may involve street improvement, road rehabilitation, water reservoirs, pipelines, and water well plant construction.

- Coordinate with City staff to obtain necessary project information and documents
- Assist in construction management and overseeing on-going site works
- Prepare cost estimates, bid specifications and documents for project bidding
- Prepare engineering plans for utilities improvements projects
- Provide site inspections during construction phase
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and records
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to contractors
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with contractors
- Examine plans and make recommendations for Capital Improvement Projects
- Assist with addressing property owner questions about projects
