Buyer seeks qualified firms to prepare a Downtown Transportation Feasibility Study for Lakewood's 333-acre downtown area. The study will analyze transportation networks to support redevelopment into high-density residential and mixed-use accommodating 2,257 additional housing units and 7,317 jobs. Work includes safety assessments, transportation modeling, alternatives analysis, and conceptual designs to create accessible infrastructure for all active transportation modes. The project is funded through a FY 2024 RAISE grant from the Federal Highway Administration.
