Buyer seeks a qualified CPA firm to perform joint financial audit of South Carolina for fiscal years 2025-2029. The engagement involves collaborating with the SC Office of the State Auditor in a team approach, with each organization contributing approximately half of the anticipated total hours. Services include auditing financial statements, reviewing component units, evaluating controls, and ensuring compliance with government auditing standards. The successful firm will provide technical expertise, IT specialists, and appropriate tools and technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency.

• Must comply with S.C. State Ethics Act
• Must not discriminate in employment practices

• Perform joint financial audit of South Carolina state government
• Contribute 3,000+ audit hours with appropriate staff experience mix
• Provide IT specialists to evaluate systems and controls
• Review stand-alone agency financial statements and audit testing
• Evaluate SOC1 reports for asset servicing
• Participate in regular status meetings with CGO and OSA
• Provide digital confirmation process platform for confirmations
• Ensure independent partner review of ACFR and workpapers
• Consult on implementation of GASB pronouncements and auditing standards
• Provide access to subject-matter experts for technical consultations
