Buyer seeks educational diagnostic services for students with disabilities and those referred for evaluation for Special Education eligibility. The contract will initially be for 1 year with the option to renew annually for up to 3 additional years. Services include conducting approximately 150 English and 150 bilingual evaluations annually, providing written reports, and participating in IEP meetings. Evaluators must be licensed by New Mexico PED and bilingual evaluators must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

  • 5/7/2025 - Proposal Evaluation
  • 5/15/2025 - District Recommendation to Board
  • 5/16/2025 - Submission of Award
  • Evaluators must be licensed by New Mexico Public Education Department
  • Bilingual evaluators must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Available from July 1 to June 30 each year
  • Comply with district background investigation policy
  • Conduct 150 English initial evaluations and re-evaluations annually
  • Conduct 150 bilingual (English/Spanish) evaluations annually
  • Administer standardized assessment tools at school sites
  • Prepare formal typed reports within 10 calendar days
  • Participate in IEP meetings as necessary
  • Consult with eligibility determination teams as required
  • Conduct classroom observations for evaluations
  • Conduct teacher/student/parent interviews for assessments
  • Review educational data for accurate evaluations
  • Provide both hard copy and electronic reports
  • Supply necessary testing materials
  • Bilingual evaluations must include full assessments in both languages
  • Maintain compliance with NM, IDEA, and district standards
  • Consult with instructional staff as requested
  • Determine eligibility for Special Education services
  • Attend eligibility determination meetings
  • Complete evaluations at district-selected school sites
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all evaluations
  • Maintain regular communication with Special Education Department
  • Be available throughout the entire school year (July-June)
