Deming Public Schools

Buyer seeks Educational Diagnostic Services for students with disabilities or those referred for evaluation to determine eligibility for special education services. The contract is for one year with the option to renew annually for up to three additional years. Provider must interpret approximately 200 evaluations per year and attend scheduled IEP meetings, being available at least three days each week. Services include interpreting diagnostic test results, determining eligibility, and developing individual student IEPs.

• Licensed by New Mexico Public Education Department
• Available July 1 through June 30
• Ability to comply with background investigation policy
• Provide documentation of services

• Interpret 200 English and bilingual evaluations annually
• Attend scheduled Individual Education Plan meetings
• Be available at least 3 days each week
• Consult with Eligibility Determination Team
• Interpret diagnostic test results and reports
• Determine student eligibility for special education
• Assist in developing individual student IEPs
• Consult with instructional staff
• Provide services from July 1 to June 30 annually
• Maintain proper licensure with NM PED
