The buyer is seeking qualified individuals and firms to provide Auditing Services for the 2026 State Fiscal Year. The buyer requires an audit of individual funds and account groups, including financial statements and Single Audit for Federal and State requirements. The audit must comply with U.S. generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards.

• 5/2/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/1/2025 - Contract Start Date
• 6/30/2026 - Contract End Date

• Minimum 15 years experience as an auditor
• Minimum 10 years experience servicing City of Elizabeth or large governmental entities
• Must be both a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Municipal Accountant

• Perform Annual Audit of financial statements
• Conduct Annual Single Audit for Federal and State requirements
• Review Annual Budget prior to filing/adoption
• Review Deferred Compensation Plan
• Prepare 5-year comparative summary of financial exhibits
• Audit Municipal Court and Dog License reports
• Prepare Synopsis of Audit for publication
