Quality Service Reviews for DBHDS Providers
Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
Buyer seeks a contractor to conduct Quality Service Reviews for individuals with developmental disabilities receiving Home and Community Based Waiver services. The reviews will evaluate service quality at individual, provider, and system-wide levels. The contractor will collect information through interviews, document reviews, and direct observation of service provision. Findings will be used to improve practice and quality of services.

- Bachelor degree or higher in human service-related field
- Three years experience in human service-related field
- Three years of ID/DD experience
- One year experience conducting chart reviews, audits, interviews
- Two years experience with Medicaid program requirements
- Conduct person-centered reviews with face-to-face interviews of individuals receiving services
- Review provider quality improvement and risk management plans
- Assess adequacy of providers' QI strategies and provide recommendations
- Develop quality enhancement plan templates and guidance
- Develop and implement communication plan for QSR process
- Conduct direct observation of individuals receiving waiver services
- Perform interrater reliability testing with documented procedures
- Evaluate quality of services at individual, provider, and system-wide levels
- Assess providers' implementation of HCBS Settings requirements
- Provide actionable recommendations based on QSR findings
