Buyer seeks a certified public accountant or firm to perform an annual financial and compliance audit of the Division of Workers' Compensation Funds. The audit covers the Special Fund, Uninsured Employers' Fund, and related entities for the fiscal year ending July 1, 2025. The auditor must follow government auditing standards and provide information to the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts for inclusion in the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

• CPA license in good standing
• No conflict of interest
• Experience auditing State Government Agencies
• Knowledge of Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)

• Perform financial and compliance audit of Workers' Compensation Funds
• Prepare audit in accordance with GAGAS standards
• Conduct risk assessment and develop audit approach
• Analyze financial statements and test internal controls
• Determine Single Audit requirements and perform if needed
• Prepare cash flow statements using direct method format
• Perform subsequent events procedures through December 11, 2025
• Issue letter reporting results of subsequent events procedures
• Provide representation letter confirming compliance with auditing standards
• Communicate any significant findings impacting Commonwealth financial statements
