• Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation preferred
• Five years experience working with government entities

• Conduct retail market analysis and identify retail opportunities
• Develop strategy for industry development, recruitment and retention
• Analyze community trade areas and consumer purchasing behaviors
• Identify economic leakage to nearby areas
• Analyze ecotourism sites and outdoor recreation opportunities
• Conduct hotel feasibility studies assessing market demand
• Identify main street competitive advantages and unique retail hubs
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure economic development success
• Present quarterly progress reports to County Commissioners
• Facilitate workshops to foster regional collaboration
