Buyer seeks qualified independent Certified Public Accountants to provide annual examination of financial statements and records. The audit shall determine whether operations were conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. The term of engagement is for four years, covering fiscal years 2021 through 2024 and ongoing. Proposal must include cost breakdown per year.

• 4/25/2025 - Inquiry Response Period End
• 4/29/2025 - Bid Opening
• 4/29/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Must be qualified independent Certified Public Accountants
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Georgia
• Experience with municipal audits

• Conduct annual financial audit in compliance with Georgia statutes
• Prepare financial reports according to GASB-34 standards
• Submit audit report to Mayor and City Council
• Assist in preparing a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
• Attend up to three public meetings to discuss audit findings
• Coordinate with City Clerk for phased audit approach
• Comply with Federal Single Audit Act requirements
• Maintain audit work papers for five years
• Perform review in accordance with Government Auditing Standards
• Provide documentation of disciplinary actions or complaints
