Buyer seeks proposals from organizations to provide a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) for eligible TANF youth ages 14-20 in Westchester County, excluding Yonkers. The program provides summer jobs, giving youth hands-on work experience and financial incentives through wages. Contractors will handle recruitment, eligibility verification, worksite development, job placement, and program monitoring. • Recruit and determine eligibility for TANF youth participants ages 14-20
• Obtain documentation of income, family size, DOB, residence, citizenship status
• Develop work site placements in public, private, and nonprofit sectors
• Match youth to worksites based on abilities, interests, and employment goals
• Conduct weekly monitoring of worksites with documentation
• Provide sexual harassment prevention training to all participants
• Implement financial literacy program for all participants
• Deliver READI curriculum or similar program to all participants
• Maintain participant time and attendance records at all worksites
• Obtain evaluations from participants and worksite supervisors
