Buyer seeks to engage a qualified licensed and insured entity to provide fee accounting services for balance sheet account reconciliation. The contractor will work with the Office of Financial Management to perform services in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The contractor will reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare journal entries, develop procedures, and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting requirements.

• Minimum 5 years experience performing services of comparable size and scope
• Performed at least 5 similar projects with public housing agencies/government entities
• Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations for financial matters
• Experience with public housing authority accounting

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries for proposed write-offs
• Develop procedures for monthly account reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing entries
• Reconcile accounts receivable, payables, accruals, and prepaids
• Identify and resolve financial statement discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and HUD standards
• Work with staff on implementing reconciliation procedures
• Prepare financial adjustments that align with regulations
• Support audit preparation and financial compliance requirements
