Buyer seeks a curriculum-design partner to develop educational materials for middle school students (grades 6-9) about rare earth minerals and critical materials. The curriculum will introduce students to the role of material sciences in clean energy futures. Buyer requires development of three modules covering Rare Earths, Additive Manufacturing, and Circular Economy of Lithium-Ion Batteries. Materials must be engaging, grade-appropriate, and aligned with educational standards.

• 4/26/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 5/15/2025 - Begin contract work

• Open to those that satisfy minimum qualifications and are available for work in Washington State

• Develop 10-20 hours of learning materials on Rare Earths 101
• Develop curriculum on Additive Manufacturing of Magnetic Materials
• Create educational content on Circular Economy of Lithium-Ion Batteries
• Design hands-on experiment activities for each module
• Create web-based interactive media or video content
• Generate learning objectives and actionable questions for each module
• Connect students to global communities impacted by resource extraction
• Trial curricula and collect teacher feedback
• Host stakeholder listening sessions to inform curriculum development
• Organize teacher training opportunities
