Buyer seeks qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for water treatment plant improvements at the North Fork and William DeBruhl Water Treatment Plants. The project will implement pretreatment systems including sedimentation with plate settlers, new clearwells, and associated processing equipment. These improvements are needed in response to Hurricane Helene, which caused severe turbidity issues that rendered both plants unable to treat water. The project aims to develop resilient and robust water treatment systems that can handle high turbidity events.
