Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority

Buyer seeks professional engineering services for the expansion of Sunfield Water Reclamation Facility from 1.375 MGD to 2.0 MGD capacity. The project includes design and construction administration of new treatment components including lift station, aeration basins, clarifiers, chemical systems, and solids handling facilities. The project will be funded through the Texas Water Development Board Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Buyer will select one qualified engineering firm/team with strong record in designing water reclamation facilities.

• Ability to comply with required delivery schedule, IFB deliverable by June 2026
• Satisfactory record of performance
• Satisfactory record of integrity and ethics
• Must be qualified and eligible to receive award

• Develop project management plan and QA/QC procedures
• Conduct topographic and subsurface utility evaluation surveys
• Perform geotechnical evaluation for proposed improvements
• Develop Environmental Information Document following TWDB guidelines
• Create Engineering Feasibility Report with process flow diagrams
• Design new secondary influent lift station
• Design additional aeration basins and blowers
• Design biological nutrient removal modifications
• Design new clarifier(s) and RAS/WAS expansion
• Design new chemical building for chlorine gas disinfection
• Design solids dewatering system and building
• Design new administration building
• Coordinate with TCEQ and TWDB for regulatory approvals
• Manage bidding and construction administration phases
• Develop record drawings and operation & maintenance manuals
